Videography 2025 – 3 Hour Class

This new 3-hour class will cover different equipment types, camera menus, lens options and uses, shooting techniques, video formats and attributes, image stabilization and more.  Come learn how to set up an open broadcast studio for multicamera podcast.  Instructor, Harry Shelton, a retired Video Engineer, TV Director and Producer is excited to share his knowledge of the latest trends in videography, video editing and streaming that are easily accomplished with consumer cameras, smartphones, and laptop computers. Required equipment:  Smartphone or camcorder and a laptop.

About the Instructor:

Harry Shelton is an independent video producer, published author and former Technical Director for KRIV-TV (Fox Television Stations Inc.). Harry worked on News, Sports and Entertainment telecasts for over 22 years. He received a degree in English-Creative Writing from the University of Texas-El Paso. Harry wrote and published “The Invention of Television”, a non-fiction historical account of how television came to be invented in the United States and Europe in the early 20th Century. In 2022 He wrote, produced, and edited “Team Space One”, a kid-friendly, space-based action-adventure comedy (search: Team Space One on Youtube.com). Harry is excited to share his expertise teaching Videography at the Gilruth Center.
