About the Club

Camping and fun outings for dads and their kids. Whether it’s camping, building something together, or simply eating s’mores around a campfire, Houston Explorer Guides and Princesses provides tremendous opportunities to spend one-on-one time with their kids. These group activities are a great chance to make new friends, strengthen bonds and create lasting memories.

Annual registration starts in August of each year, but families can join at any time, and the activities are typically once a month from August through May (aligned with the school year).  Activities include camping at Texas State Parks, a pinewood ‘smash up’ demolition derby, and overnights that have taken place at Battleship Texas, Moody Gardens, Seawolf Park, and USS Lexington and Lone Star Flight Museum.

Don’t know much about camping? That’s ok! We can help you figure it out….and if you don’t have a passion for the great outdoors, we plan lots of other fun activities that your kids will love. Our kids grow up so quickly so take the time now to be an important part of your child’s life. Just a couple of fun days per month can make a lifetime of difference to your child and you.

For a list of activities for the year and registration, please see our Facebook Page.
