Innovators at NASA Armstrong craft creative solutions that advance emerging technologies from concept development and experiment formulation to final testing. Armstrong’s chief technologist works with the center’s Technology Transfer Office and Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer teams to foster technology partnerships. The aim of these efforts is to continue to expand Armstrong’s world-class capabilities and further the center’s impact on NASA goals and missions as well as the world around us.

Armstrong Chief Technologist

David Voracek

David F. Voracek is the chief technologist at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California. He leads the effort on advocating for innovation, advising on technology strategy and helping in technology program decisions such as for Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer.
