- All rocket propulsion test assignments
- All facility modifications or refurbishments affecting the Agency’s rocket propulsion test capability
- Annual budget requirements establishment and approval.
- All official documentation pertaining to multi-site test activities.
- All key decisions relating to NASA rocket propulsion testing.

The Rocket Propulsion Test Management Board is formed by these NASA Centers and Office: RPT Program Office, Glenn Research Center (ISP), Marshall Space Flight Center, Stennis Space Center, White Sands Test Facility, Kennedy Space Center, Wallops Flight Facility and the NASA Engineering and Safety Center.
