GeneLab Data Processing Team Hiring Bioinformatics Program Developer
NASA’s Open Science Data Repository (OSDR) serves as a hub for biological and metadata from space-relevant experiments, including physiological data hosted by the Ames Life Science Data Archive (ALSDA) and ‘omics data supported by GeneLab. With a mission to foster collaborative data sharing and accelerate scientific discovery, NASA GeneLab’s Data Processing (DP) team collaborates with the scientific community to develop and maintain standardized ‘omics data processing pipelines. These pipelines ensure consistent, high-quality processing of space biology data, advancing our understanding of life in space environments.
To further this mission, Blue Marble Space Institute of Science is seeking a skilled bioinformatics program developer to join the GeneLab team. This role focuses on developing, managing, and executing ‘omics data processing pipelines, leveraging expertise in epigenomics, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics.
