Media Contacts

Members of the news media may request interviews with Ames researchers by contacting the NASA Ames newsroom at:

All filming requests for entertainment, documentary or commercial productions must be initially reviewed and approved by NASA Headquarters in Washington. Please send a written request describing the production and intended use of interviews, other video to be filmed at Ames and distribution plan to Bert Ulrich. NASA does not support speculative projects.

Notes

The name of our center is NASA’s Ames Research Center. We are located in Moffett Field, California, which is considered its own city. We are not in Mountain View, California. If preferred for clarity, we can be referred to as “near Mountain View,” or “in California’s Silicon Valley.”

Also resident at Moffett Field are the NASA Research Park and its tenants, who lease rooms or buildings on the Moffett campus. While Ames manages the NASA Research Park, these tenants are not located at Ames, and should not be implied to have further NASA affiliation, unless NASA otherwise states a relationship.
