Restoring NASA’s Core Competencies
NASA is taking deliberate steps to strengthen its core capabilities. This effort is focused on strengthening NASA’s technical authority by bringing core, mission-critical positions into the civil service.
As part of this approach, the agency is assessing where critical work is best performed, either in-house or through our valued industry partners. The process will be implemented in phases to ensure continuity for ongoing missions and to provide time for strategic planning.
Opportunities
Each NASA Center will be working over the coming months to complete their assessments and begin announcing vacancies. As information and vacancy announcements become available, we’ll share it on this page.
