High-Speed Flight Project

NASA’s High-Speed Flight (HSF) project develops technologies that enable high-speed commercial flight from Mach 1 to Mach 5 and above. The HSF project’s supersonic and hypersonic vehicle research includes tools, technologies, and knowledge that will help eliminate today’s technical barriers to practical commercial high-speed flight.
