NASA Astronaut Randy Bresnik
Randy “Komrade” Bresnik was selected as a NASA astronaut in 2004 and served as the commander of the International Space Station for Expedition 53 and flight engineer for Expedition 52. Bresnik is currently assigned as commander for the agency’s Artemis III mission – a mission to low Earth orbit designed to test rendezvous and docking capabilities between Orion and commercial spacecraft needed to land astronauts on the Moon.
