At the core of our analysis capabilities is the Community Analysis Pipeline (CAP), a powerful, Python-based software package designed to work with MGCM output (see Model Output tab) and derived datasets. It allows users to:
- Generate plots and visualizations of atmospheric variables, seasonal cycles, and climate phenomena.
- Perform detailed analyses of temperature, pressure, wind, dust, and water distributions.
- Derive secondary variables such as potential temperature, heating rates, and tidal amplitudes.
- Interpolate and manipulate datasets across pressure levels or geographic regions.
- Compare model outputs across different MGCM versions, including both the FV3-based MGCM and the Legacy MGCM.
CAP is designed to be user-friendly yet highly flexible, supporting research from initial exploration to publication-quality figures. By integrating with the MGCM output datasets, CAP enables both new and experienced users to extract meaningful scientific insights efficiently.
