This award  recognizes small groups of 25 or fewer employees who have demonstrated exemplary teamwork while accomplishing a particular task or goal in support of the human spaceflight program. 

ELIGIBILITY 

Full-time NASA and contractor employees are eligible to receive the SFA Team Award. Each team member must play a major role in achieving one of the criteria listed. Teams larger than 25 people must be approved by the SFA Program Manager. Only recent work (within the last three years) will be considered.  

CRITERIA

Teams must meet at least one of the following criteria: 

  1. Contributed significantly beyond normal work requirements in support of the NASA human spaceflight programs 
  2. Contributed, recommended, and/or implemented a means of improving the reliability, efficiency, accuracy, or safety of a human spaceflight program 
  3. Sustained superior performance as part of a team effort over an extended period of time 
  4. Recommended and/or implemented operational improvements to increase efficiency
