Formal Dispute Resolution

The NASA Ombuds Program complements the formal dispute resolution programs made available within NASA. Often times the Ombuds will refer their visitors to these formal resources and in return these programs refer people to the OmbudsOffice for assistance with dispute resolution. The difference between the OmbudsProgram and these other resources is that the Ombuds is an “off the record informal resource.” Going to the Ombuds does not rule out utilization of the formal options.
