NASA Office of Education Scholarship and Research Opportunities

These opportunities are for individuals pursuing or planning to pursue undergraduate studies leading to associate or bachelor’s degrees in relevant NASA-related disciplines at an accredited U.S. minority serving institution, or MSI. These opportunities are open to students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, specifically in areas of projected deficiencies in the NASA STEM workforce. Deadline: March 31, 2015.

Minority Innovation Challenges Institute

Do you want to learn more about how to compete in NASA's technical challenges for both prestige and significant cash prizes? NASA's Minority Innovation Challenges Institute trains and mentors minority undergraduate students through virtual conferences offered year-round. Students are welcome to attend as many online, interactive educational sessions as they desire at no cost. In addition, university faculty members are welcome to attend these sessions so that they can take the information back to their classrooms.
