
Expedition 60
The Expedition 60 crew tested a 3D bioprinter and explored the potential of using microbes to mine space materials and provide life support. The crew also performed space physics research that may lead to greater fuel efficiency and a cleaner environment, as well as better flood control and pharmaceutical production on Earth.
