The NASA Space Apps Challenge is just around the corner! This year's event challenges you to "Learn, Launch, Lead" as you collaborate with like-minded innovators and technologists from around the world. During this two-day hackathon, you can use NASA data to address 18 challenges authored by NASA subject matter experts, with topics ranging from exoplanet exploration to ocean ecosystems, recycling on Mars, and sustainable agriculture. Join us for a virtual event exploring some of the exciting career opportunities behind NASA’s most advanced aircraft program. NASA's Quesst mission, which features the one-of-a-kind X-59 aircraft, will demonstrate technology to fly faster than the speed of sound without generating loud sonic booms. This event will focus on the careers responsible for bringing the X-59 from concept to reality – from aerospace engineers and materials scientists to experts in the trades. The NASA TechRise Student Challenge invites student teams in grades 6-12 to submit science and technology experiment ideas to fly on a suborbital flight vehicle. Entry Deadline: Nov. 3
K-12 students at private and public schools in the U.S. are invited to design the patches for these upcoming missions. Winners will work with a Human Research Program graphic designer to turn their concept into a reality. Submission Deadline: Oct. 15
NASA is inviting the public to join the agency’s Artemis II test flight as four astronauts venture around the Moon and back to test systems and hardware needed for deep space exploration. Participants can download a boarding pass with their name on it as a collectable. Sign up before Jan. 21
