The Engineering Directorate’s Space Flight Instruments focus area provides solutions to active lidar and passive optical sensors, explorations systems technology and space remote sensing systems. Other capabilities and expertise include electronic systems, flight and ground software support and space environmental testing to include thermal vacuum, vibration and Electromagnetic Interference/Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMI/EMC) testing.
