Supplier Award
This award honors outstanding performance by hardware, software, or service suppliers who support NASA human spaceflight programs. Awardees are chosen based on their production of high-quality products, excellent technical and cost performance, and adherence to schedules.
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates are selected using a documented system that shows valid data rating performance in the areas of quality, schedule, and cost.
CRITERIA
The supplier must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Production of high-quality products, excellent technical cost performance and adherence to schedules based on a documented system that shows valid data in the areas of quality, schedule and cost
- Demonstrated exertion of an extraordinary amount of effort to produce a product or meet an abnormal schedule that enhanced flight capability
RECOGNITION
The award consists of:
- Congratulatory letter signed by the highest level of management from the nominating NASA Center and/or contractor organization
- SFA Supplier Award Certificate
- Desktop award
