Dr. Valerie Carr is a Professor of Psychology at San Jose State University and a Senior Research Associate on the SJSU cooperative agreement, “Human Systems Integration: Collaborative Human Factors Research to Improve the Safety, Efficiency, and Reliability of NASA’s Aeronautics and Space Missions.” She has been faculty at SJSU since 2015, where her research examines factors that influence learning and memory across the lifespan through a cognitive neuroscience lens.
