Ramsey Melugin

Ramsey Melugin is the Directorate POC for the Agency End User Services Office (EUSO) for IT support, Directorate Computer Security Officer, Directorate representative for the Government Industry Data Exchange Programs (GIDEP), Division representative on the Ames Quality Management System Working Group, and IT Management Board member.  He serves as Core Team Member of the NASA Configuration Management Community of Practice.  During his career, he worked on aerospace technology development, optical technology, and project management.  Assignments included Data System Engineer for Constellation Program, Deputy Project Manager during the development of the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA), and optics engineer for the Space Infrared Telescope Facility (SIRTF, later named the Spitzer Space Telescope).  He was Cognizant Optics Engineer on the Infrared Astronomical Satellite (IRAS) Telescope System, guidance and navigation avionics engineer on the development of the Short Takeoff and Landing (STOLAND) Project, and Optical Sensors Engineer on the development and operation of the Solar Pointing Aerobee Rocket Control System (SPARCS).
