
Edgardo Lozada
Director, Program Management and Support Office (Acting)
Edgardo (Ed) Lozada serves as the acting Director of the Program Management and Support Office (PMSO) in the Mission Support Directorate (MSD) at NASA Headquarters.
As acting Director of PMSO, he is responsible for strategic communications, office budget and acquisition strategies, employee engagement, human capital programs and capabilities, and general programmatic support. Previously, Lozada served as the acting Deputy Director of PMSO.
From 2022 to 2024, Lozada was a Resources Manager in MSD. In this role, he managed budget planning and execution, fulfilled contract acquisition strategies, and provided programmatic support.
Before joining MSD, Lozada served as the Deputy Program Manager for the Space Flight Readiness Training program at Johnson Space Center, where he managed the NASA T-38 aircraft fleet. He also worked as an Agreement Manager for the Aircraft Operations division.
Lozada was a corporate accountant and auditor in the private sector before he came to NASA. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Turabo University of Puerto Rico and an MBA in finance from the Metropolitan University of Puerto Rico. He graduated from the NASA NEXT program in 2023.
