
Bruce White
FIG Electrical Engineering Lead
Bruce White came to NASA Ames as an intern in 2005 and has been here ever since. He received a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art/Art Education from Indiana University in 1998 and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from San Francisco State University in 2006. Since then he has worked as an electrical engineer on two SOAREX sub-orbital reentry probe flights, the LADEE Lunar orbiter, PowerCell synthetic biology payload, NIRVSS Lunar instrument, and numerous instrument development efforts with the Flight Instrument Group (FIG). His expertise is in sensors with an emphasis on photonic instrumentation.
