Dr. Lorenz Prasch holds a Bachelor’s degree in cognitive science from the university of Tübingen, pursued his Master’s degree in human factors engineering at the Technical University of Munich and the Delft University of Technology, and obtained a PhD from the TUM School of Engineering and Design. His studies focused on system ergonomics and interaction design. For instance, he evaluated the influence of post-hoc explanations on trust, acceptance and mental models of highly automated driving systems, and developed an intuitive control for cranes. His primary area of expertise is human machine interaction with a special focus on creativity.

Dr. Prasch worked as a research associate and lecturer at the chair of ergonomics at Technical University of Munich where he taught over 30.000 students the principles of front-end design in a massive open online course (MOOC). Additionally, he conceptualized a framework for teaching creativity to interdisciplinary teams of students from STEM fields, and implemented and taught it for several semesters. Currently, Dr. Prasch is Co-CEO and Co-founder of proband15 GmbH, where he supports companies in product development with user centered approaches (from idea generation to final product), and empowers them to achieve more user centered design themselves.
