NASA Safety Center – Our People
The NASA Safety Center (NSC) is part of NASA’s Office of Safety and Mission Assurance and supports the Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) requirements of NASA’s portfolio of programs and projects. We focus on improving the development of the personnel, processes and tools needed for the safe and successful achievement of NASA’s strategic goals.
Harmony Myers, Director
Harmony Myers is the director of the NASA Safety Center, located at the Ohio Aerospace Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, she generates an environment of learning and information sharing; advances Safety and Mission Assurance expertise across the agency workforce; assures consistency, effectiveness, and quality in programs, products, and services; and enhances collaborations across the agency, industry, and other government agencies.
Robert Conway, Deputy Director
Capt. Robert (Bob) Conway (U.S. Navy, retired) is the deputy director of the NASA Safety Center (NSC), located at the Ohio Aerospace Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. Conway also serves as the chief of the NSC’s Mishap Prevention and Organizational Performance Office.
