The front of the Far Ultra Violet Imaging Spectrograph, or FUV, for the NASA ICON mission. This image shows the door that covers the turret. This door opens once on-orbit. FUV captures images of far ultraviolet light in the upper atmosphere to track how this region responds to weather in the lower atmosphere.
