NASA Langley researchers are using a Piaggio P.180 Avanti, owned and operated by AdvAero, to test computer software that allows pilots to update flight paths to improve their efficiency. Airline pilots are flying out of Newport News Williamsburg International Airport so they can assess the technology in the air.
