jsc2018e084637 (Sept. 27, 2018) --- At their Cosmonaut Hotel crew quarters in Baikonur, Kazakhstan, Expedition 57 backup crew members David Saint-Jacques of the Canadian Space Agency and Oleg Kononenko of Roscosmos (right) present flowers to local officials Sept. 27 as part of traditional pre-launch ceremonies. They are the backups to the prime crew, Alexey Ovchinin of Roscosmos and Nick Hague of NASA, who will launch Oct. 11 on the Soyuz MS-10 spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan for a six-month mission on the International Space Station.
