NASA astronaut Luke Delaney activates a new space botany investigation

iss075e0226045 (Oct. 16, 2026) --- NASA astronaut and Expedition 75 flight engineer Luke Delaney activates a new space botany investigation inside the International Space Station’s Harmony module. The Multi-use Variable-g Platform-02 Plant-02 (MVP Plant-02) study observes the genetic response of plants growing in microgravity to help advance spacecraft life support systems. MVP Plant-02 was delivered the day before aboard a SpaceX Dragon cargo spacecraft.
