Join Us for the Crew-4 Virtual NASA Social

Social media users are invited to take part in a global virtual NASA Social for NASA’s SpaceX Crew-4 mission set to launch on April 23, now cohosted along with our partners at European Space Agency (ESA). This is the fourth crew rotation flight with astronauts on the Crew Dragon spacecraft as part of the Commercial Crew Program.

The launch will carry three NASA astronauts – Mission Commander Kjell Lindgren, Pilot Robert Hines, and Mission Specialist Jessica Watkins, to the space station – as well as ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, who will serve as a mission specialist. This is the first spaceflight for Hines and Watkins. It is the second trip for Lindgren and Cristoforetti.

If your passion is to communicate and engage the world via social media, then this is the event for you! Seize the opportunity to blog, tweet, post or simply share anything about the Crew-4 mission on your channels.

Virtual #Crew4 Social participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Connect virtually with like-minded space enthusiasts
  • Get notified about images, videos, online tools and ESA/NASA news
  • Watch live as four astronauts launch to the International Space Station!

The #Crew4 Social event page will open on April 14 and everyone is invited to join by selecting the “Going” button. Please note by attending the virtual event, you are explicitly agreeing to a set of rules/guidelines and anyone who breaks these rules may be banned from the event page.

All resources, participation, and registration are FREE. Register below to let us know that you’re virtually participating!

If the launch date changes prior, NASA may adjust the date of the ESA/NASA Social accordingly to coincide with the new target launch date. ESA/NASA will notify registrants of any changes on the Facebook event page.

If the launch is postponed, attendees will be able to watch the launch at a later date on the Facebook event page.
