Nationwide Programmatic Agreement

The NASA Nationwide Programmatic Agreement (NPA) outlines a process for NASA to meet its federal requirements to consider the potential impacts of its actions on historic properties in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Developed in consultation with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, the National Conference of State Historic Preservation Officers, and other consulting parties, the NPA is tailored to meet NASA’s mission of exploration and innovation.
