The SCaN Testbed served as a test facility for radio communications and Global Positioning System (GPS) research on the International Space Station. An adaptable Software Defined Radio facility, SCaN Testbed permited operators to remotely alter radio functions through software after deployment allowing greater flexibility in research applications.
