Manager, Program Control and Integration

Diana K. Oglesby serves as Manager, Program Control and Integration for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program (CCP). In her previous role as Deputy, Program Control and Integration, she aided in the execution of the agency’s goals to facilitate the development of a U.S. commercial crew space transportation capability to carry astronauts into low-Earth orbit and, eventually, take crews to the International Space Station.

She helped oversee program integration activities, such as budget planning and execution, resources and schedule management, qualitative and schedule risk assessments, contract management, strategic communication and public engagement, board support, Information Technology (IT) architecture, and configuration/data management. In addition, she assisted in managing the development of program policies, processes and decisions, as well as responses to inquiries, actions and/or audits from external organizations.

Experience

Prior to joining CCP, Oglesby served as the chair of the Kennedy Infrastructure, Applications and Communication (KIAC) Contract Source Evaluation Board, where she was recognized with the NASA KSC Superior Accomplishment Award for exemplary leadership of the acquisition efforts. In that role, she was responsible for ensuring the source selection official received competent and timely assistance in making a source selection decision by providing a thorough and objective evaluation of offers, compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. Following the successful award, she held the position of KIAC transition manager and then served as the KIAC contracting officer’s representative (COR) to oversee the initial year of contract performance.

Oglesby began her NASA career as a computer engineer in 2003 with the majority of her tasks supporting the IT and Communications Services Directorate and the KSC Chief Information Officer (CIO) to include leadership positions in the disciplines of IT Security and software development. She has participated in multiple leadership development programs, including an extended detail assignment to the Office of the CIO at NASA Headquarters. In her role as the KSC application portfolio manager, Oglesby was a strong advocate for new software initiatives across the agency and implemented numerous efficiencies, significantly reducing duplication among center software investments.

Oglesby has received numerous citations and accolades for her contributions to the agency over the years to include the Space Flight Awareness Honoree Award (STS-132) for significant contributions to human spaceflight and the agency’s Special Act Award for her outstanding accomplishments in transforming IT at NASA. More recently, she was a recipient of the Most Valuable Mentor Award for placing a priority on growth of NASA employees.
