Falcon 9 First Stage Lands Successfully

A first-stage booster from SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket lands at Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on Friday, Aug 1, 2025, just minutes after NASA’s SpaceX Crew-11 launch from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, along with JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Kimiya Yui and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov, launched to the International Space Station aboard SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft and Falcon 9 rocket at 11:43 a.m. EDT on the 11th crew rotation mission with SpaceX to the space station as part NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.
