Hatch Closed on SpaceX Dragon Spacecraft

With communication checks complete, the hatch now is closed on the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, which previously flew NASA’s SpaceX Demo Mission-2, Crew-2, Crew-6, and Crew-8, in addition to Axiom Mission 1. Liftoff for NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Kimiya Yui, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov is less than two hours away at 12:09 p.m. EDT.
Weather trends look great and launch is 90% “go,” with cumulus clouds as the main weather concern.
