iss070e024794 (Nov. 14, 2023) --- The space station’s robotic arms install a new laser communications device, the Integrated Laser Communications Relay Demonstration Low Earth Orbit User Modem and Amplifier Terminal (ILLUMA-T). This technology could provide faster download of data from space to Earth in a variety of space regimes, including future missions to the Moon and Mars.
