NASA has made an award to Genex Systems for geospatial support services at the agency’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia.
Genex Systems, located in Newport News, Virginia, will provide an array of geospatial solutions analysis, development and support. This work will include collection, validation, and maintenance of geographic information system (GIS) and remote sensing data; creation, configuration, and management of relational database management systems (RDBMS) and web database applications. Their development and configuration management of geospatial service-oriented architecture will include web-based mapping and analysis applications; survey and measurement technologies; and laser scanning and imaging to support the creation of 3D models.
The award has a potential value of approximately $7.3 million over the three-year period of performance.
