Bernadette Luna

Dr. Bernadette (Bernie) Luna is the Chief of the Project Management Division, Programs and Projects. Bernie’s NASA experience exceeds 35 years, with project management and line management roles across space biosciences, space science and Earth Science. Bernie served as the Deputy Director of the Earth Science Project Office (ESPO), which manages several suborbital flight missions. Earlier in her career she led elements of life support and space suit technology development at Ames. Bernie earned a BSE in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a MS and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
