NASA Awards Systems, Software Assurance Services Contract

NASA has awarded TASC, an Engility Company of Chantilly, Virginia, to provide systems and software assurance services and software engineering services for the agency’s Independent Verification and Validation Program in Fairmont, West Virginia.

This is a cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, with a performance period of five-years, which includes a one-month phase-in period, and maximum ordering value of $170 million.

TASC will provide services necessary for the independent verification and validation of software on NASA missions. These services will include initiation, planning, execution, review and close-out of software assurance activities. Software assurance activities will be performed on directed projects, capability development, project management, technical quality and excellence services, information assurance activities and other technical support activities.
