Model Tree Hierarchy

This video will cover the concept of using model hierarchy or a “model tree” to organize your model components into familiar groups. This enables your model components to be well-organized and associates child components with appropriate ancestors.

Think of the model tree as how your model is assembled. Nested components can inherit features from ancestors such as placement, grouping, and Set membership. Without nesting, your components are essentially floating in space without connection to each other which defeats the purpose of parametric modeling.
