NASA Contracts for Armstrong Center Logistics Services

NASA has selected Kay and Associates, Inc., in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, to provide center logistics services and aerospace ground equipment support services (CLS & AGESS) for the agency’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California.

The CLS & AGESS contract award is firm-fixed-price with a cost-no-fee contract line item number (CLIN) and a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity CLIN.

The contract includes a one-month phase-in and a two-year base performance period, with three one-year options and an additional option to extend services for six months. The total potential value of the contract is approximately $54.9 million

Kay and Associates, Inc., will provide aerospace ground equipment support services,  including critical/emergency and routine aircraft maintenance and mission support services, service of aircraft batteries, life support, proof load testing, fuel delivery, aircraft fueling, nitrogen servicing, equipment training, equipment painting, fire extinguisher inspection, aircraft static display inspection, and ramp sweeping. 

Logistics services provided under this contract will consist of transportation, fleet management, supply management, personal property and controlled equipment management, records management, purchase request processing, and aircraft sustainment.
