Media Invited to New Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Tribute

News media are invited to a ceremony and the opening of a new tribute to the pioneering crew of Apollo 1 entitled “Ad Astra Per Aspera. A Rough Road Leads to the Stars” at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex’s Apollo/Saturn V Center in Florida on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017.

The ceremony at 11 a.m. EST will be hosted by Kennedy Space Center Director Robert Cabana and air live on NASA Television. Media will have the opportunity to participate in the ceremony and visit the new tribute, which will open to the public at 11:30 a.m. EST.
