The Plant Engineering Branch is dedicated to providing safe, cost-effective Facility Operating Services to our customers, the government research and tenant personnel at both NASA Ames Research Center and the NASA Research Park, by investing in our staff and by providing a customer service-friendly work atmosphere while offering a level of service which meets or exceeds customer expectation and satisfaction.

MISSION STATEMENT

To enable and advance the missions of NASA and the Ames Research Center through the maintenance of institutional and program facilities, and related equipment, in the most comprehensive and cost-effective methodologies; to minimize risk to processes and products; protect the safety and health of personnel and the environment; preserve capabilities and capital investments and; provide a quality workplace for those enabling the Agency’s mission.

Contract Management

Jacobs Technology Ames Facility Support Services (AFSS) has established a Quality Control Support Desk. The quality control group will be responsible for interfacing with customers, documenting issues, forwarding complaints to the proper department, and maintaining contact with the customers until issues are resolved.
