With over two decades of experience spanning the global energy and technology sectors, Joe has built a career at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and infrastructure. Joe worked extensively in terrestrial power generation covering coal, oil, and gas until 2017 where the focus shifted to renewable energy and electric vehicle technologies. He has also spent his time in energy and power generation consulting in both domestic and expat roles, before transitioning to the electrical equipment and substation manufacturing sector.

Since 2023, Joe has been serving at NASA, where his roles have included Power Technology Portfolio Manager, ENABLE Domain Formulation lead for Advanced Power & Thermal, and currently as Program Element Manager for the Surface Infrastructure Program under the Space Technology Mission Directorate. In this capacity, Joe supports cutting-edge power and energy storage initiatives critical to enabling lunar and mars surface missions.
