Integrated Mission Operations Contract III (IMOC III) – [Contract Award Press Release]
The IMOC III contract provides support and products for spaceflight operations, capability development and execution, and avionics and software support, for the Flight Operations Directorate at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston. Also included are support for NASA’s Exploration Systems Development and Space Operations Mission Directorates, including space station and Artemis activities, as well as future development programs and other strategic initiatives.

The contract supports mission preparation, and crew, flight controller, instructor, and analyst training, as well as real-time mission execution activities related to human spaceflight operations.

NASA also will use this operations support capability to define requirements associated with emerging options for human space exploration initiatives and potential new programs such as human research, commercial crew and cargo, commercial low Earth orbit development, advanced exploration systems, and advanced technology and research.

Mission Systems Operations Contract (MSOC) – [Contract Award Press Release]
The MSOC supports the International Space Station Program, including International Partner and Commercial Visiting Vehicles, the Orion Program, the Space Launch System Program, and the Commercial Crew Program.  Mission Systems supporting these programs are under development and/or modification in concert with program formulation and implementation. MSOC applies to the mission systems for all of these programs and any other programs or missions requiring mission systems support now or in the future.

Mission Enabling Services Contract (MESC) – [Contract Award Press Release]
The MESC contract is broken into three segments:  The Baseline A segment covers information technology and related support services for the NASA Aircraft Management Information System, which is an integrated, module-based, custom software suite that supports aircraft flight operations across the agency.  The Baseline B segment covers services and support to the Flight Operations Directorate’s information technology system and its predecessor legacy components.  The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract segment covers specialized, highly specialized, and advanced research and development information technology.

Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory Operations Contract (NOC) – [Contract Award Press Release]
The NOC calls for the procurement of highly-skilled services that include enriched-oxygen breathing gas production (Nitrox), life-support systems for submersed space-suited subjects, spacewalk procedure development and verification, operation of human-rated robotic system, integrated audio and video systems, Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA) training and evaluations, and computer network systems that are tied to International Space Station simulations to generate emergency scenarios.  The NOC supports crew training and development activities that are crucial to continued safety and success of the space station mission, NASA’s Orion spacecraft and its Commercial Crew Program.

CompreHensive Aircraft Readiness, Lifecycle, Engineering, and Support (CHARLES) – [Contract Award Press Release]
The purpose of CHARLES is to provide support for aircraft based at: Ellington Field at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston; El Paso, Texas; Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia; Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland; Wallops Flight Facility on Wallops Island, Virginia; and other remote sites where services are required. The statement of work includes aircraft maintenance, flight operations, engineering, lifecycle, quality, safety, and other related support for a variety of airframes, engines, appliances, and support equipment at the various locations.
