Apollo-Era Veterans Gather to See Movie About Neil Armstrong

Four well-known NASA veterans came together at Space Center Houston Monday for a screening of First Man, the new film about Neil Armstrong and America’s first steps on the Moon, and to celebrate NASA’s 60 years of achievements in human space flight, aeronautics and space exploration.

Glynn Lunney, flight director during the Gemini and Apollo programs, Fred Haise, Apollo astronaut, Chris Kraft, NASA’s first flight director, and Gene Kranz, flight director during the Gemini and Apollo programs, came together at Space Center Houston Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, for a screening of First Man, the new film about Neil Armstrong and America’s first steps on the Moon, and to celebrate NASA’s 60 years of achievements in human space flight, aeronautics and space exploration.
