X-48C Awaits its First Flight

Now modified with two higher-thrust turbojets in place of the original three, an extended rear deck, and its vertical tails moved from their prior wingtip location to just outboard of the engine exhaust ducts, the sub-scale NASA-Boeing X-48C blended wing body technology demonstrator awaited its first flight from Rogers Dry Lake.
