Bowersox, cosmonaut Vladimir Dezhurov, astronaut William M. (Bill) Shepherd and cosmonauts Sergei Krikalev and Yuri P. Gidzenko. Shepherd is Expedition 1 prime crew commander; Gidzenko, prime crew Soyuz commander; and Krikalev, the prime crew's flight engineer. Bowersox, Turin and Dezhurov are backups.
