Ring Sheared Drop investigation in MSG

iss060e073382 ( Sept. 19, 2019) --- The Microgravity Science Glovebox (MSG) aboard the International Space Station, holds Ring Sheared Drop. This investigation examined the formation and flow of proteins associated with neurodegenerative diseases in the absence of surface tension and complications created by the solid walls of containers. Results could contribute to a better understanding of these diseases as well as to the development of advanced materials.
