J-57 TURBINE FAILURE ENGINE INSTALLED IN THE ALTITUDE WIND TUNNEL AWT
The P&W J-57 was tested extensively in the Altitude Wind Tunnel (AWT) from December 1953 to February 1954 before suffering a major failure (11/24/1954).
