O’Hara uninstalls heat pipe experiment from MSG

iss070e00391 (Sept. 28, 2023) --- NASA astronaut Loral O'Hara removes MaRVIn-PCIM from inside the Microgravity Science Glovebox aboard the International Space Station. This physics investigation examined the distribution of vapor and liquid within a wickless heat pipe. The pipe is heated at one end to evaporate a liquid and cooled at the opposite end to condense the vapor back into a liquid. Research findings have applications for heat pipes used to cool satellites and other electronics.
