nhq202404060200 (April 6, 2024) --- The Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft lands near the town of Zhezkazgan, Kazakhstan, under its main parachute on Saturday, April 6, 2024. The Soyuz crew ship fired its soft-landing engines a split second before landing to soften the impact of touching down on the Earth's surface. Aboard the Soyuz crew ship were NASA astronaut Loral O'Hara, Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitskiy, and Belarus spaceflight participant Marina Vasilevskaya who had undocked from the International Space Station several hours earlier.
